Question 1

What's the difference between Adventure Teams and Tripmate matching?

Accepted Answer

Adventure Teams let you find travel companions for specific adventures listed on Tripmozzi and book together.
Tripmate matching is better when you're exploring destinations outside our listed adventures or don't have fixed plans yet.

With Tripmate, you pick a destination and dates to find companions. Adventure Teams are based on existing Tripmozzi adventures.
Opening an Adventure Team and posting on the Tripmate tab too increases your recruitment rate by 46%.

Question 2

How does adventure booking work?

Accepted Answer

[If you find teammates on Tripmozzi]
Once all teammates above the minimum pay their deposit, everyone gets a balance payment notification.
When everyone pays the balance, the booking is confirmed and the trip begins.

[If your teammates are outside Tripmozzi]
After paying your own deposit and balance, a payment link is generated for external travelers.
You can choose your preferred payment method on the reservation page.

If any teammate fails to pay the deposit within 3 days, the reservation is cancelled and all deposits are refunded.
If all deposits are paid but someone doesn't pay the balance, that person's deposit is non-refundable.

* You can check teammates' balance payment status on the Adventure Team detail page.

In some cases, the balance may be collected on-site.
Please refer to the 'How to book' section on the adventure detail page.
